PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING CALCIUM PHOSPHTE (MONO/DI/TRI)
(a) ACIDULATION PROCESS CUM GYPSUM MANUFACTURING
Phosphate ore or Rock phosphate powder is a mineral, it is a natural source of Calcium Phosphorus just like Limestone, and calcite mineral is natural source of calcium carbonate. It contains mainly calcium phosphate along with calcium fluoride (FLOURSPAR) stone, Limestone and Silica. The most of the constituents of Rock Phosphate are soluble in acids at ambient temperature and pressure. In acidulation process Rock Phosphate is mixed with dilute acid in a closed acidulation vessel connected to scrubber set through duct. After stirring crude dilute phosphoric Acid and Gypsum as a mixture formed. The Calcium fluoride reacts with acid to produce HF. HF is react with silica to produce Si F4. The SiF4 is react with water to produce H2 Si F6. The H2 Si F6 is react with Lime stone to produce Calcium Fluoride and Silica. The Calcium Fluoride and silica is decanted. The Gypsum filter cake with P2 O5 and silica is stored, sun dried & stored for use as product for sale.
(b) PURIFICATION OF CRUDE DIL PHOSPHORIC ACID AND PRECIPITATION OF PURIFIED PHOSPHORIC ACID AND WET CAKE WASHING (Calcium Phosphate Mono/Di/Tri Manufacturing)
The Crude dil Phosphoric Acid solution of acidulation Process is collected in a tank This contains dilute H3 PO4 Solution with H2 Si F6. This Solution is concentrated in a Evaporator for removing H2 Si F6 and then it is mixed with Lime stone for further purification & then Filtered. The filtered solution of purified conc. Phosphoric acid is Diluted and neutralized with neutralizing solutions to pH4.5 to pH 7.2 to precipitate Calcium Phosphate. This Precipitate is washed with water, if required. The wet cake of Calcium Phosphate from centrifuge/filter press is dried and pulverized, if required then blended and sieved / packed for sale after Quality Assurance Testing.
